TAD 7 Term 3: Sewing Projects
Sock Monkey
April/May
Students are practicing their basic hand sewing skills to create their own sock monkey or sock creature.
Sewing Machine Skills
May
Students will be introduced to the sewing machine, and learn basic skills on how to properly thread and operate the machine for basic stitch work.
Pillow Project
May/June
Students will apply their newfound skills on the sewing machine to create thier own pillow. Some may choose to challenge their skills by choosing a more challenging pattern or by adding interest with embellishments.
